Bear with me, I'm still trying to figure out this silly website. Worse yet, I'm not real good at talking about myself (not that I'm not interesting, just not into the whole self promotion game). I'm at that point in my life where I realize I've gotten entirely too comfortable with being single- that freedom of not having to answer to anyone or change my ways is quite seductive and helped cover the hole in my life where the companionship and love of a significant other belonged- something I knew from previous relationships but somehow managed to forget. I do lead an active, busy and rather non traditional life. I travel often for work in the live events industry. I am a person. In fact my current pup is a huge pain in the butt monster who I desperately need to spend more time training, but I love him dearly nonetheless. Music has always been a big part of my life and that is something that will be crucial when it comes to finding someone who is compatible. Beyond that, let's talk...

My Ideal Person Who am I looking for? That's a hell of a good question. This website certainly isn't Match or OKCupid or any of those other dating sites- it's more hookup central, complete with some rather interesting profile pix

And of course the initial temptation is to play the kid in the candy store (with adult sweets), especially given that being out of a relationship means not enjoying sex as often as I'd like. But the truth is, I'm not looking just for casual sex- nothing wrong with it and I'm certainly not going to say no, but the 20 year old me is snickering at the idea of the sixty year old me trolling for one night stands and I'd ultimately like something more fulfilling and meaningful than a simple hookup (did I mention that I'm not going to say no in the meantime?).

Given that, chemistry becomes important; not just the physical chemistry, but the ability to talk and connect and find common interests. What do you do for fun (besides sex)? Do you enjoy movies, plays, a good book, live music? What kind? What matters to you? What are you passionate about? Did you ever have that desire and that fire in the belly to save the world when you were younger? Do you still? Do you keep up on current events? Have you ever put on the evening news and found yourself wanting to throw something at your TV? How's your aim, lol?

Does any of this sound like the kind of stuff you'd like to talk about rather than the same old boring small talk you've heard a thousand times in some bar or other social gathering? Because I will admit right up front that I am terrible at small talk and would just as soon chew my arm off and sneak out of those situations, rather than face the same boring, generic small talk that neither of us will even remember a half hour later.
